This commission intended to bring a strong sentimental quality to the main interior lobby wall, by referencing RAK’s unique natural elements such as the landscapes and the cultural monuments & elements. The artwork is created using black and white digital line drawing, created in a delicate manner that brings in a sentimental quality to the space. Creating a visual narrative. The artwork was printed onto a textured wall covering that is applied to a framed wood panel. On the top layer 7 hand painted sections of the drawing were framed to give a hint of color and more visual interest to the whole artwork.
